The local bond market was quiet for most of the early session. Mapped deals were mostly Treasury bills, accounting for 1.8-billion of the 3.25-billion morning volume. The latter part of the session saw bids in the 5 and 7 year benchmarks given at yields flat to 3 basis points up from last week's close.
