To send funds to your other bank accounts, you will have to use the eFT (electronic Fund Transfer) option of your EON account. This will allow you to move funds without having to withdraw the cash amount and depositing it to a branch.
- Log-on to your EON account at www.unionbankph.com .
- Click on eFT to other banks.
- Make sure you complete all the fields required. You will be asked the Beneficiary Account No., Bank Name, and Beneficiary Name. Your Beneficiary is the person you want to send the money to. Please have this data available before you send an eFT to another bank. The Bank Name and Beneficiary Account No. will have to be correct to process your fund transfer successfully. If you have inputted the wrong Beneficiary Account No., your eFT request will be returned to you (crediting the eFT amount to your EON account again less the fee deducted for your eFT).
- You will also be asked if you want your beneficiary to receive an advice that money is being credited to his/her account from you, the payer. Your EON account can send the advice via email or fax. Please make sure you input the correct email address of your beneficiary to avoid discrepancies. There is a charge for the advice sent to the beneficiary. (Please refer to Terms and Conditions Section)
- Fund Transfers sent before 1:00 pm (cut-off) will be credited within 48 hours. However, if you sent the eFT after the 1:00 pm cut-off the amount will be processed the next banking day.
- In your eFT to other banks option, you can do two things: (1) send an eFT (2) view the summary of your eFT transactions.
- If you want to review the eFT transactions you've transmitted, or your want to find if the eFT you sent has been successfully transmitted, click on eFT Summary to view the details of your past eFT data and the current status of your eFT transactions.
