- Purchases/Withdrawals Denied
It may happen that you made find your purchases/withdrawals are denied. The common error message may be that "FUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE in the account". There may be a number of reasons for this discrepancy:
- Customer Error: You may have missed recording a transaction(s) and have recorded an incorrect account balance. To minimize this error, we suggest you always check your E-ON Electron Account online to verify your available balance.
- Electronic Credit Delay or Misposting: An expected electronic credit, such as a payroll deposit, may have been delayed or even misposted.
- Memo Post Transaction: You may notice a change in the available balance resulting from a memo item. It may have been an ATM withdrawal or a debit transfer.
- Deposit Missed Posting Deadline: A deposit made after the Bank's daily deposit deadline may not be available until the following day. Or if the deposit was made at an ATM, only a portion may be available until this item is verified.
- Exchange rate/fees: If you buy something in a foreign currency or withdraw from a VISA PLUS ATM overseas, the currency conversion rate that VISA uses may be different from the one you use.
- Daily Limits of E-ON Electron
Since E-ON Electron may also be used as an ATM card, the same daily limits will prevail. You have a daily peso amount limit of P20,000 for an ATM withdrawal. However, you may ask your UnionBank branch to increase your daily limit. This will require a request from your maintaining branch.
- Lost or Stolen E-ON Electron Card
If your E-ON Electron Card has been lost or stolen, please call our IAC +800-8277-2273 number, if you are in another country. If you are in the Philippines, please call our Customer Service Number at 84-186. They will block your E-ON Electron so that no one can use your E-ON Electron card to make purchases.
- Charges and Fees
Your E-ON Electron does not charge you monthly fees for your purchases since it automatically debits the purchase from your E-ON Electron account. However, there are some fees and charges that will be deducted from your account -
