A government issued valid ID and the UnionBank GSIS EMV Visa Debit card will be required upon claiming of prizes.

Promo Mechanics

  1. The UnionBank GSIS EMV Spend Raffle Promo ("Promo") is open to all GSIS pensioners and members who are active and current cardholders of the UnionBank issued GSIS EMV UMID / eCard ("Cardholder").
  2. The Promo will run from September 1 – 30, 2018 (“Promo Period”).
  3. To qualify for the Promo, the Cardholder should simply use his/her UnionBank GSIS EMV Debit card for purchases (Over-the -counter POS purchases and online purchases only) for a minimum Php500 single-receipt spend within the Promo Period. Every qualified transaction shall earn a raffle entry. The purchase amount shall be deducted from the Cardholder’s account.
  4. At the end of the Promo Period, the 70 raffle winners will be drawn and will receive the prizes indicated below.

  5. The raffle will be drawn electronically at the 21st Flr, UnionBank Plaza, Meralco Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City, October 12, 2018 4pm in the presence of a DTI Representative.
  6. The Cardholder can only win once during the promo.
  7. The Cardholders' accounts must be active at the time of the draw and until the claiming of the raffle prize.
  8. Raffle prizes are not convertible to cash. Taxes shall be c/o UnionBank.
  9. The raffle winners will be notified by UnionBank through registered mail and phone call. During the notification, the raffle winners 4-70 should inform UnionBank on their preferred UnionBank branch to claim the prizes; otherwise, prizes will be claimed from the Corporate Products Management – Marketing Team at 34th Flr, UnionBank Plaza, Meralco Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Cash Credits for winners 1-3 shall be credited to winner’s UnionBank GSIS EMV UMID/ eCard account on October 29 2018. Winners of non-cash prizes must present their GSIS EMV UMID /eCard upon claiming the prizes. List of winners will be posted at www.unionbankph.com/GSISSpendPromo.
  10. Winners shall be given sixty (60) calendar days from receipt of the notice by registered mail to claim their respective prizes. Unclaimed Prizes will be forfeited by UnionBank with the approval of DTI.
  11. The raffle winners give UnionBank the right to mention his/her name as the winner of the Promo and use his/her photo, if needed, in any advertising material regarding any announcements related to the Promo.
  12. Employees of UnionBank, and its advertising agency including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promo and will be excluded from the Promo.
