The Leader - Executive Accelerated Development (LEAD) Management Trainee Program aims to develop young, brilliant individuals – straight from school, from the bank’s internal pool, or starting professionals – to be able to hold key positions in Unionbank in the future. The LEAD process ensures that managerial and executive leadership positions can be filled by establishing a pool of highly skilled and well-rounded talents.
It is a ‘fast-track’ and ‘accelerated’ program designed to provide the management trainee job experiences and training within a period of 6-7 years, thereby preparing them to become an Assistant Vice President (AVP) within a period of 6-7 years. The LEAD Management Trainee Program is a robust training curriculum consisting of classroom trainings (internal &/or external), e-learnings as well as on-the-job trainings supplemented by a support network through coaching, mentoring and counseling.
The LEAD candidate entering the program must possess the following criteria:
- Top 5 in the class
- Must have led or was active in a youth, civic, academic organization or have excelled in sports
- Have garnered school, civic, athletic awards
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- If with work experience, should have consistently attained excellent performance and have directly contributed and delivered performance results.
Ideally, talents taken into the LEAD Management Trainee Program are well-balanced individuals - individuals, whose excellence in the academe or work is balanced with involvement in extra-curricular activities, thereby creating a sense of equilibrium.
