UnionBank Online is your online banking facility that allows you to do your banking transactions using your smartphone, tablet, laptop or personal computer.


What can I do with UnionBank Online?

With UnionBank Online, you can do the following:

  • Inquire real-time balances for Current/Savings accounts, Credit Cards, Loans, UITFs, Business Line accounts, and Term Deposits
  • Transfer funds to all major local banks. Local transfers to other banks are limited to PHP only.
  • Pay bills (for electric, water, phone, credit card, etc.)
  • Buy prepaid load (Globe, Smart, and Sun - yours or someone else’s)

Is UnionBank Online available 24/7?

Yes, you may access UnionBank Online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Who may sign-up to UnionBank Online?

UnionBank Online is open to all UnionBank customers with savings account, checking account, debit card, credit card, loan, UITF, business line account, or term deposits.


How do I sign-up to UnionBank Online?

You need your account or card details and customer information to be able to register to Internet Banking. Simply click on the "Sign Up" button found at the login screen and follow the instructions thereafter. You shall receive an email and SMS notification once you successfully sign-up to UnionBank Online.


How long does it take to sign-up?

Signing-up should not take longer than a few minutes. We’ve designed the process to be as user-friendly as possible without compromising the security of your account.


Is there a minimum Operating System (OS) requirement for UnionBank Online?

The minimum Operating System (OS) requirement for UnionBank Online are the following:

  • Apple iOS 9.x
  • Android 4.4 (Kitkat)

Will UnionBank Online work on all types of internet browsers?

How fast are the transactions made on UnionBank Online?

All transactions on UnionBank Online happens real-time. However, please be mindful that transactions like Transfers to Other Banks has a processing cut-off. Transactions requested after the cut-off are processed first thing on the next banking day.


Where can I transfer funds to?

You may transfer funds to any major local bank. Transfers to Other Banks is currently limited to Philippine Peso only.

Is there a limit to the amount I can transfer?

By default, you can transfer up to PHP500,000.00 daily. You may change this anytime under Settings > Transaction Limits.


Are fund transfers done real-time?

Fund transfers to your own account and to other UnionBank accounts are credited in real-time. However, transfers to other local banks may take 2-3 banking days before it gets credited to the beneficiary account. The processing time depends on the time the transaction was requested and how long the receiving bank processes the transaction. Transfers to other banks made before the cut-off (12:00 NN) are processed by UnionBank on the same banking day.


Do I need to enroll the bills that I want to pay thru UnionBank Online?

You don't need to enroll your bills. You just select it from a list billers, specify your account details and pay. You can also save the biller account details that you regularly pay directly on your app so that you won’t have to type them in again the next time you need to pay. Please take note however that there are some billers that change the account number or bill reference number every month (i.e. Meralco). So when paying bills, make sure that you have checked the details thoroughly before confirming it.


Can I pay someone else’s bill?

Yes, you may pay someone else’s bills with your enrolled accounts in UnionBank Online.


When is my payment credited?

Payments done through UnionBank Online are credited to the biller real-time. However, the biller or merchant may take a few days to reflect the payment in their systems.


Can I purchase e-load through UnionBank Online?

Yes, you can buy Globe, Smart/Talk 'N Text and Sun Cellular load through UnionBank Online. Below are the available denominations available of each.

Can I buy load for others?

Yes, UnionBank Online allows you to buy load not only for yourself but for others too. Simply enter the mobile number of the intended recipient. You also have the option of saving this mobile number as one of your Favorites.


How secure is it to do banking transactions via UnionBank Online?

UnionBank employs strict security features to ensure fast, reliable and safe mobile banking experience.

  • The system has a two-factor authentication (device registration and One-Time Password).
  • The UnionBank Online is Verisign Certified.
  • Email confirmation is sent to your registered email address for every financial transaction completed.
  • The UnionBank Online app automatically logs out the user for 3 minutes of inactivity.
  • OTP is required for all fund transfer and bills payment transactions.
  • We adhere to the latest standards for encryption


What should I do if I forget my password?

You may proceed to do a self-reset by clicking "Having trouble logging in?". Follow the instructions provided in the next screens to reset your password. Once done, you’ll receive an email containing a link to a site where you can nominate a new password.
