300 GetGo Points Bonus

PROMO MECHANICS:

  1. This promo is open to all new to bank customers who applied for the GetGo debit card (the “cardholder”).
  2. To qualify for the promo, the cardholder must fulfill the following during the promo period:
    1. Pick up their GetGo debit card in any UnionBank branch
    2. Makes (1) signature based VISA transaction, online or point of sale, regardless of the amount.
  3. For the purpose of this promo, transactions made in the POS (point-of-sale) machines that accept VISA and e-commerce channels are considered VISA transactions. Bancnet card transactions, withdrawals done via ATM or over-the-counter, fund transfers, bills payments, and transactions related to fees and charges shall not be included in this promo.
  4. The 300 GetGo bonus points will be credited directly to the cardholder’s GetGo account linked to their GetGo debit card, within 15 days from the end of the promo period.
  5. Eligible cardholders who qualify for the 300 GetGo bonus points, will only receive their points once after the promo period. GetGo points do not expire as long as the GetGo member’s account has at least one (1) earn activity with Cebu Pacific Air, Cebgo or Partners for the last twelve (12) consecutive months. A qualified earn activity shall refer to the following:
    1. You have travelled on a qualifying flight taken in Cebu Pacific Air or Cebgo
    2. You made a qualifying purchase transaction with any of the GetGo Partners
    3. You have successfully converted your rewards currency in Partner rewards programs to GetGo points
  6. The promo cannot be used in conjunction with any other existing UnionBank Debit Card welcome gift promo (ex. Waiver of the first year annual fee)

  8. UnionBank and Cebu Pacific employees shall not be eligible to join this promo.

FAQs:

  1. Can I earn the 300 bonus points more than once? Do I earn 300 bonus points each time I swipe my card?
    No, you only earn the bonus points on your first swipe. Each cardholder can only be credited once.

  2. Which GetGo number will my bonus points be credited to? Can I give another GetGo number?
    Your GetGo Bonus Points will be credited to the GetGo number assigned to your account. This is the GetGo number given to you when you pick up the card or the GetGo number you enrolled during the application process.

  3. When do I get my GetGo bonus points?
    The GetGo Bonus Points will be credited 2 weeks after the promo period.

  4. When is the deadline for the 1 Visa Transaction?
    Visa transactions are valid when swiped from 12:00 am, April 1, 2017 UNTIL 11:59 pm, July 31, 2017.

  5. Does an online transaction count?
    Online transactions are qualified as long as you select VISA during checkout

  6. Do purchases made via PayPal count?
    Yes, purchases made via PayPal count

  7. Are Bills Payment transactions/ATM withdrawals included?
    No, payments made via UMobile for Bills Payment, ATM Withdrawals, Fund Transfers and BANCNET transactions (PIN-Based transactions) do not count as the 1 Visa transaction.

  8. How do I know if it is a Visa Transaction?
    Visa transactions are transactions in which you SIGN at the cashier upon paying. For e-commerce transactions, select VISA at the checkout page and this will be processed.
